CHARACTERISTICS
1. PU ADHESIVE For use in shoes bonding: Rubber, EVA, leather, synthetic leather etc.
2. Long tack time, high bonding strength.
3. Long pot life, easy to use.
4. Good water, heat and yellowing resistance.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Appearance: Milky white liquid
Solid Content: 50 ±1 %
Viscosity: 50 – 800 cps (LVT/25℃)
Shelf Life: 6 months
PROCESS Mixing ratio
CH-3168 PU adhesive : 100%
CH-55 Thickener : 0.3～0.6%
※According to client’s requirements
※CH-3168 PU adhesive must mix with CH-55 thickener to adjust brush’s viscosity as required to be workable PU adhesive.
CH-1001 : Hardener: 4 ~ 6%
According to humidity, (hot day 4% hardener) (normal day 5% hardener) (raining day (6% hardener)
(1). Rubber→degreasing→Rubber Primer (45-50℃×2'30”-3')→CH-3168 PU adhesive + 4~6% CH-1001 Hardener (55-60℃×5'30”-6')
(2). EVA→degreasing→UV Primer (45-50℃×2'30”-3')→UV light →CH-3168 PU adhesive + 4~6% CH-1001 Hardener (55-60℃×5'30”-6')
(3). Upper leather→buffing →leather Primer+4~6% CH-1001 (45-50℃×2'30”-3')→CH-3168 PU adhesive + 4~6% CH-1001 Hardener (55-60℃×5'30”-6')→ Assembling → Pressing
Drying： Primer → (45-50℃×2'30”-3')
Cement → (55-60℃×5'30”-6')
CH-1001 : Hardener (Water-Emulsifiable Polyisocyanate)
NOTICE :
1. CH-3168 can be stored at 5-40℃for 6 months in original seal containers.
2. Temperature above 40℃ must be avoided.
3. CH-3168 had better finished during 2 months in best period.
4. The product is sensitive to frost, and must therefore not stored at temperature below 5℃. It’s not possible to thaw the product after freezing.
5. The containers must be kept tightly sealed; otherwise vaporization of water leads the formation of a film which is not re-dispersible.
